Default Altamont Grips -- Lightweight?

Hello all. Are Altamont K/L laminate boot grips lightweight? I know it is relative but looking to keep a carry gun as light as possible. Are their grips made of the same stuff that was (is) called Dymondwood? That stuff I know was lightweight on factory Airlite J frames. Like a feather.

IMHO, yes.
They use a lot of laminate wood and to me it seems really light, really hard.
I like their stuff for the most part. It's reasonably priced and durable. Two important qualities for a carry weapon that's subject to wear and tear.
