I went through the 4th Edition S&W Bible and I didn't see any info on it so it must be newer than 2016?
Granted, I'm still trying to figure out how to decipher the book so I could be totally wrong but I don't see anything so far.
Sounds like a great gun though. Is the barrel tapered by any chance?

Full lug. They are actually very shootable—especially with .44 Specials—and easy to carry.

29-10 bounty hunter
I have one and love it. They mention it in the 4th addition on page239.. There were only 487 made.

This thread needs pics, so second from the bottom is the BH. One annoying feature about this gun to me is that it actually says Bounty Hunter on the right side of the bbl. Nevertheless, it is a round butt 3 screw 29-10 with full lug 3” bbl. Not sure how many 29-10’s are round butts or lack 4th side plate screw, but this is the only one that comes to mind right now.

I believe they may have been a special run for some customer of S&W. CDNN ended up with a bunch of them. I kept looking at them as they price was really cheap as far as I was concerned. And still kick myself for not getting at least 1 of them. That had to be at least 10 years ago.
