Default Broke Again - bought 57, 25, 14, & Combat Stocks

I traveled up the coast today to see a dealer who I'd previously purchased numerous handguns from. I only went to look for a Model 14 shooter to use to compete in ISSF Centrefire Match. Turns out I bought more than that. Now I've got to submit the necessary paperwork to my States Firearms Registry before I get issued a permit to go and pick them up.

Here are some photos I took at the dealers. Sorry for the bad quality; lighting was an issue.

Very nice!

It's always fun to find a good collection of shooters all in one place AND have the cheddar to snap them all up.

Good job. I like the M25. I still need one for my collection.

So, how did I do?

Model 14 - $650 AUD - $460 USD
Model 57 & 25 - $1500 AUD each - $1063 USD
Combat Stocks - $100 each - $71 USD
(At today's exchange rate $1 AUD to $0.71 USD)

I expect I overpaid for the two N Frames but they are rather uncommon here in Australia since changes to Handgun laws in 2002.

Good price on the 14, reasonable on the 57 and 25, and about a third of the US price on the combat stocks. All in all, I'd say you had a great day.
