Post Lock Model 10 HB
How is the quality of the above S&W ? I have wanted one for a long time, but I don't know about the post locks.

With so many nice pre lock model 10’s out there, I see no sense to buy a new one. If my memory serves the new ones are over $600,
While I have seen stone mint older guns, complete in box with papers and tools for around 400-500
|

I'd hope the quality is quite good, given that they've had nearly a century to iron out the kinks (if any) of the Model 10.

Look for a -10 or before. The -10's were the last of the square butt non mim guns, to have the firing pin on the hammer. Mine was made in 1990.
