Default Hogue Bantam Cocobolo Grips Finally Arrived

I ordered a set of Hogue Bantam Cocobolo grips for my S&W 327 on June 22nd and they finally arrived today. Took UPS 9 days to get them from California to Georgia. In any event they are beautiful and fit perfectly. The main reason I ordered them was to shorten the profile for concealed carry and they make a big difference. Here are some photos.

I like those a lot.

They have a bit of a Spegel vibe to them. Which is a good thing.

Thanks. I really like they way the feel. My hands are medium size and the stock grips felt too big plus they rode too high in my holster. These are perfect for me.

I like them a lot ..... my favorite on J-frames........ Spegels are a bit thinner and better in my medium size hand on K and N frames..... that said I've got a half dozen sets of Hogue's Bantams on K/L frames.... safe queens not EDC

That looks to be about as compact a "fireball" as you can get. I bet the grips do feel good.

They feel so much better than the stock grips to me. Can't wait to get to the range to see how they feel while shooting.

Those look great on your gun. I wish they made them in rubber for an N frame. I have a set on my 2 1/2" 686 and I like the way they feel. I emailed Hogue a while back and they said no go on the N frames.

Thanks. That would be great if Hogue made them in rubber but I don't think we will see that anytime soon.

I totally agree. Glad I ordered them instead of settling for something in stock.

Off to the range tomorrow to test the new Hogue Bantam grips. Even though they are considerably small than stock I feel like they give me a better grip with more control. Will let you know if that's the case.

I love the way boot grips look on snubbies but my ring finger always falls on top of the ridge of the finger groove.

So I made it to the range today with my 327 and the new Hogue Bantam grips and am very pleased with the results. The bantam grip give me much greater control even though its quite a bit small than stock. My grip feels more secure and the checkering helps quite a bit. All in all I am very happy with the Hogue Bantam grips and I really like the looks of the Cocobolo wood. It's a definite thumbs up for me. Upon arriving home I decided to give my other new purchase a try. I used Hoppe's Elite to clean my 327. I did an excellent job of removing the burn marks off of the cylinder. BTW the Hogue Bantam grips really make a difference in concealing my 327. Overall, they turned out to be a great purchase. Here's a picture of todays target alone with one of the cylinder after cleaning with Hoppe's Elite. Target was set at 5 yards and I was shooing Fiocchi 130 grain 38 Special ammo.
