BK Grip Adapters on a 3" M65-3
This BK Grip Adapter arrived in today's mail, along with another ivory one and 2 black ones. It feels great, in the hand, and I like the way it looks, too. Tomorrow, I'm taking this M65 to the range, to see how this set-up works.

You’ll like it. They look good in black too.

I've got a bronze Tgrip on my 3" M13. Love it. Wish BK made bronze ones. I would buy 3 or 4 right now.

I have both. I constantly mess around with grips and adapters. Glad you enjoyed yours.

Now, 55 years later, I understand my sister's fascination with dressing up her Barbies.
Same gun, wearing Uncle Mike's boot grips:

Not too long ago, you could find bronze, and the other Tylers on-line, for $30-40. Now, any Tyler is nearly impossible to find, and prices are reaching $70, if you do find one on GB, or eBay. That's why I tried the BK's. They were shipped the same day I ordered them, but USPS Priority Mail took 6 days (probably can't discuss that here...). I'm really happy with the BK's.
...and I love the Model 65, my first 3" K-frame. On the hunt for a 3" M13, as of right now.

BK's are made of some kind of vinyl, and take paint very well so you can have what ever color you want.

Congratulations on the new Model 65. It looks great! I've got a new 3" 65-5 coming my way next week. It's wearing magma's and a silver Tyler T. For now I'll have to be content with a 3" Model 64. Here is a picture of it.

I wonder if they would melt if dipped in bronze? Is that even possible?

We are ALL different, because I sure don't like the feel of BK Adapters. They are quality made. Shot with them on 1 of my K frames. (10-5) Do
not like the feel. Handed the gun to 1 my shooting buddies. He did not like them either. Gave it to him to try on 1 of his guns. The next time I saw him, he gave it back. It is lying around somewhere? Bob

I have tried a Tyler on a model 36 and even with it there just was not enough meat in the grip to properly control the revolver for me. Now a Tyler on a K frame with magnas is perfect for my hands. I expect that a Tyler on a N frame with magnas would work for me as well but I went with Culina smooth cokes on both my N frames.
