Default Do these grips ....

Make my model 29 look fat?

New Altamont grips installed on my 1980 M-29 and I love 'em!

They look good, they fit my hand and I'm looking forward to stretching their legs next week at the range!

What do you think?

Fine choice, beautiful grain. Altamont is good stuff in my book.

If you love Ďem, theyíre great! I had a similar pair for a K-Frame and I eventually gave them away. Iíve never cared for the look of laminated wood, but itís hard to deny the utility and durable nature of the material. Give us the lowdown when you return from your first shooting outing.

The question should be "Do these grips make my M29 butt look fat?"
And my answer would be "nope".

They look good, but I am one of the cursed that finger grooves don't feel right to. Bob

Nah, those don't make your 29 look fat. Fat is how Pachmayr Presentation grips make my own 29 look but I need them for competition shooting. Wood grips are beautiful but I need the felt recoil reduction more than I need the beauty.

Good luck with yours. They are pretty.
