Default Virginia DOC Model 64-4 2"

A few years ago I was able to purchase one of the Virginia Department of Corrections Model 64-4 2" Revolvers. I have read that the 64-4 was the best of the 64 series. I bought it from a Gun Shop in Virginia that apparently purchased a large quantity after the VDOC traded them in for semi-auto 9mm pistols. My revolver does not have any markings to indicate that it was a VDOC issued sidearm. I have tried to do a little research and about the only thing I have learned is that the 2" Snub nose were issued to Wardens, Assistant Wardens and possibly Administrative Staff. Anyone else purchase one of these and do you have any details. Mine is in VG + shape and doesn't appear to have been fired much. I did replace the oversize Hogue grips with new Altmont OEM grips. Thank you...
