New Altamount Grips 629-4 5" 44 Mag
I am very happy with my new Altamont Grips, they took 2.5 months to arrive, but I have them. They are new S&W N Round Conversion Roper Target American Walnut Checkered. Perfect fit and absolutely fabulous. Not shooting grips, I would never take them into the backbush for a week, so it is a show-me grips. Being a Photographer I will work up a nice portrait soon. Here are the first shot, easy done. Thank for viewing.

There, that´s better. With the rain coming, I set the gun up on the wood pile, being careful of the background. I used a white paper plate to reflect enough light back on the dark grip. A few shots later, five minutes work and there you have it. The old weathered wood and the polished engraved grips give an interesting contrast. A little green to add color, that's my shot. Thanks for your interest.

I like altamonts and have quite a few for both N and K/L frame. Depending on which model you purchase, some are affordable enough that a person doesn't cringe when they take sandpaper to it and customize.

Those are absolutely beautiful. Although not as fun to shoot with, they make a S&W revolver look like a revolver is supposed to look.

Beautiful examples of Altamont’s Ropers in Santos Rosewood. I have examples in Santos Rosewood and olive wood. They are as functional as they are good looking.
