Default Lew Horton 29-10 3” w/ Culina Magnas

I think I’ve shot this gun once launching 200gr plated slugs with five or six grains of Clays. The altamont magnas were just worthless for shooting. I dont think I could have told the difference if the altamont aesthetic panels werent even on the gun. These Claro Walnut magnas from The Culina’s are much better .

The gun is 3” tapered ejector shroud square butt 29-10. Though made in 2006 the rifling is broach not ECM. I think there were 250 of these in blue and another 250 in nickel. Same numbers for 45 ACP and 44 Special if my memory is working today.

Never knew they made a 29-10 3 inch. Beautiful gun and Culina’s.

Edit: oh yeah, now I recall, LH’s? M 21 and 22’s also LH, all SB.

You just made a good looking gun look even better. I have a 24-6 model from that Lew Horton run. Looks like I need to call Jennifer now....

Culina magnas are a bit wider and more round in my experience. They fill your hand better than factory magnas.
