Default Culina’s on my M629

Just received my second set of Culina’s today in Cocobolo. The fit and finish is truly amazing. My ****** photos do not do them justice. Now I just need to figure out which gun is going to get the set in Macassar Ebony. I’ll get photos up soon.

A big shoutout to Jennifer for all her help and Emails, and a huge thank you to John for making such a quality set of grips.

Congrats, John's work has impressed me from the first set of stocks I had made. If you have them made to your hand measurements you will want to sleep with them. I had a set of square butt stocks made to fit a round butt framed 629 Mountain Revolver, I traded the revolver but kept them and hunted for something to put them on. I am not sure but I think that was one of the first conversions John did, Honey Bastogne
Walnut. Now they sit on one of my favorite shooters that is with me whenever I go to the range, three days a week...624-3 Lew Horton Special. I have my favorites...but that one gets shot.

They really look beautiful on your 629, just another great set that proves you can't go wrong with John's work!

I have a pair of Culina grips in Cocobolo too. Here are his pictures of them, since they are better than I could do. I think they look great. I have had them for a few years. I know nice Cocobolo is getting more difficult to obtain.

Since this thread has mentioned John, I wanted to make sure Jennifer got the kudos owed to her. She held my hand while I impatiently waited for work on my project could be tackled, she explained work situations, etc. that left me understanding and at ease. Couldn't ask for better professionals to work with.
