Real good day at the LGS
Saw both of these today right when they were going on the shelf and grabbed both, just don’t see this stuff often anymore.
First is a 629-4 3 inch in factory box with the combats. I looked in my book and can’t find the product code, if anyone has any info it would be appreciated
2nd Gun is a 625-7 with a 3” barrel in 45Colt, factory box and combats, any info on this is appreciated also.
Both guns look as if they were shot very little, definitely keeps.

Those are two exceptional finds. Someone was thinning out the safe and you won! Congrats.

At the right place at the right time. Kind of like being at Academy or Bass Pro lately when they put out handgun ammo-it doesn't last long! Great looking guns. Enjoy them in good health.

Lew Horton?
the 625-7 may well be a Lew Horton distribution. Let us have the serial number to see if it is on the list!
Edit, Serial prefix is on the list, probably a Horton gun, congrats!
And Most likely the 629 is also a Lew Horton, great score!

I imagine those came from the same person and look incredible. I picked up a 3" 629-4 a while back and love it. Unless I am missing something, those don't look like factory combats (no medallions and the shape is off) on either of those. I thought both of those came with factory rubber stocks. Either way, great find.

I don't see the 629 (103600), either, but the 625 (148121) is listed in S&N II on page 198, S&N III on page 255.
