Default Let's See Some 3" K-Frames

They sure are popular right now. I only have one, and probably can't afford another, any time soon. It sounds like a lot of folks are craving 3" K-Frames; so let's post some photos.
I'll start with my 65-3. It showed up as a consignment at my LGS, about a moth ago, and they called me, without ever putting it out, for sale. A little holster wear, and no flame cutting. Shoots like a laser. I like to swap out grips.
Let's see your 3" K's!

In the past I had a 3" 65 and a 3" Performance Center 13, both of which I regret selling.

Currently my only 3" K is a Performance Center 19 K-comp.

Hate the lock, but boy does it shoot...

I've been a fan of the 3 inch K-frame .357 since about 1987 when I got my first 3" 65...... bobbed the hammer,magna-ported was all the rage, trigger job, red ramp front sight, and cut down a set of K-frame banana grips to boot grip length. It was my evening and weekend concealed carry with Safariland Comp II speedloaders...........

In 1989 I got my first 3" 66-3 and a set of Spegel Boot grips. Back then they set on the shelves as it was the time of the wonder-nine autoloaders with 15 up their butts. At $260ish I got a back up. Found a used 66-4 about 15 years later for $325 in a LGS.

Today I'm at five..... two 65s and three 66s..... all wearing Spegel boot grips.

Sorry no pics.................

Here’s a 65-3 with Culina Cocobolo grips. When I bought it,the seller said “You can have this box too but the serial number doesn’t match the gun.” He was looking at an assembly number. When I took off the Pachs and looked, the serial numbers matched. I was pretty excited.

The "Fireman" was the first one here with his 547 in 9mm, but here's my shooter grade.

Shipped in January '83 so the barrel isn't pinned.

I sold the Model 13 3" when they reached a value that I couldn't resist. I still have the Model 65. I sure wouldn't pass up a Model 10 or Model 64 with a 3" heavy barrel either.
They are a great configuration.

Default Mix and Match

Here's my custom Model 10-5 rd butt 3 inch with both cylinders. One cylinder is 38 special. The other was adapted to 9mm by Pinnacle Gunsmithing. The pinto look is a practical consideration. You can tell at a glance which caliber is on deck. Sorry for the less than great picture. I have a thread in the older forum posts about this 10-5.

Off the top of my head I think I only have one 3” K frame remaining, a 13-3, but I have many 2.5 inchers.

I had a 3" M13 many moons ago. Still kicking myself for selling it.

I have to settle now for a 3" M64, a 2.75" Speed-Six, and a 3" K6S to appease my 3" lust. (Oh, and a 3" SP101 in .327 that I have been working up loads for.)

I would dearly love a 3" M65, but the ones I find are priced beyond my cheapskate ability.

Always wanted one. Could never find one. So I made one out of a beat-up model 64 4" barrel one.

Here's my three. The M-66 was a Grail Gun but after I got it I still like my original M-13 the best. It just carries better plus I have shot it so much the action is smooooth.

65-5 is my only 3" K-frame.
But it would probably be the last one to go if I had to get rid of them all...

Two more 3-inch K frames. Nearly identical . . . there's maybe 1/10 of an inch difference between them (Model 64-3 and 65-2)

Since you’re looking, here’s a nice nickel 13-3 with Culina Grips in Walnut. Enjoy.

I bought this Model 13-3 in the box with the paperwork years ago for 200 dollars. I added the Bianchi Lightning grips a few years later. This spent years as my plain clothes/off duty gun. I retired 2 years ago yesterday, and I gave this to my son-in-law this year.
