What do you think about this crown? Is it ok, or is in unfinished?

It was like that out of the box, wouldn't think a couple rounds of test fire would produce that, and I cleaned with hopps and wire brush. Tonight I will use lead away cloth and see if it takes it off. To me it looks like it was not chamfered.

First, welcome to the S&W Forums!
Second, that's lead fouling and, to me, looks like more than just the 3 rounds of factory test firing. S&W test fires their revolvers by firing a round from every other chamber. Look at the cylinder face, you should see burn rings on every other cylinder.

Looks like metal burrs to me. Needs to be finished off with a piloted cutter.

Do you shoot mostly lead?
Looks like lead to me.
I'd spray some mpro7 and a brass brush scrub. Should do the trick..

If it's new and came right out of the box from the factory like that, call S&W customer service and arrange to send it back.

I think I would send those pics to Smith and Wesson and get their input because it does not look right. If it is a 629 no dash it is out of warranty.

Find something that is harder than lead, but softer than stainless and try scraping it. I have small scraper tools I made from brass rod.
If it scrapes, it's lead. If it doesn't, send it back.

If you have or can get a Lewis lead remover, that might be the thing to try.
Lewis Lead Remover at Brownells
Best thing there is for heavy leading in my experience.
Comparing your first and second set of images, I think you have removed some lead, but I have never seen it pile up at the muzzle like that.
Now I am going to suggest a controversial move.
If the bore is clean and nice, maybe try shooting some full power magnum jacketed rounds and see if that build-up can be vaporized or blown off.
I am not a fan of "shooting out" lead from the bore, but that stuff is not going to increase pressure in the barrel and may well be blown off if it is indeed lead.
If not, send it back to S&W.

Contact S&W, they might want to see the pictures too, but I now fear that is not lead, but is a poorly machined crown.

I called and got my label to send it in for factory warranty. They said turn around is about a month. I will keep you posted.

I am glad you are sending your Revolver back to S&W. I have
been watching this Thread.
I shoot a lot of Lead Bullets, and have never seen a Crown like
that on any of my Revolvers. I knew that was not Lead on the
Crown. When you tried to clean it off that just confirmed what
I was thinking.
I even have a Performance Center Revolver with Trapezoid gas
ports by the muzzle, and have never, ever, experienced build
up.

Report when you get it back from S&W.

I certainly would not blame the OP if he did not want to do that but some knowledge might ensue.
I would think twice and then probably do it if I wasn't pissed off so much just looking at that thing that I sent it right back.
Range time is also harder to find now what with the plague going on unless you are one of the lucky ones with a backyard big enough to shoot in.

I have only one gun with ports and it happens to be a S&W 629 with light weight barrel.
No build up in the ports or muzzle either but small smudges on the side of the front sight riser.
I have not tried to get those all cleaned off as I didn't want to effect the glass bead finish.
Bothers me not.
I don't clean off the front of cylinders completely either.
