S&W 586 M no likey Tulammo 357
I was at the range today and I had a box of Tula 357 ammo...my 586 did not like it. It loaded fine, shot fine, but extraction was a bear...I had to tap on the ejector rod to get them clear. I shot some brass 357 with no problem.
I'll safe the rest of the Tula for my Ruger Blackhawk...

Russian manufactured ammo is loaded to "optimum performance" levels when fired in the coldest winter temperatures. Your summer performance maybe 'problematic'.

There is a reason I do not buy steel cased ammo except 7.62x39 (for my SKS).

Ran 50 thru my 28 and 50 thru my 66 recently yes can be a bit tough to eject at times but for the price I’d be more than happy to come across some currently.

We do not allow Tula or other steel cased ammo in our NRA Basic Pistol Class. We provide .38/.357 revolvers. Tula was so difficult to eject that a plastic faced hammer was required to clear the gun.

I usually have a Bic ballpoint in my shirt pocket works well for this purpose!

I had the same issue with the Tula ammo in one of my 27's (don't remember which one), I still have the partial box in my garage.

junk ammo, what do you expect. There is a reason it's cheap.

Works well in a Makarov, too.

Works well in many firearms that have chrome lined and somewhat generously sized chambers. Most barrels made in the west have plain steel chambers. The coating on steel cases is adequate with chrome lined chambers, but sometimes less than adequate to compensate for the steel case not springing back from maximum expansion when fired in plain steel chambers.
