As much coveted as the S&W factory combat grips are I kind of lean towards something a bit more compact on shorty barrels. N frame RB grips from Altamont are laminated and thin, so I gambled a bit and got these from a Thailand maker. They're a bit wider and squared off along the back. Checkering isn't quite as sharp as factory but the color is a pretty good match. Medallions look good too.

Grips come with a brass screw which of course isn't correct. I used an S&W Magna factory screw (whose slot I cleaned up after seeing this shot
) to self-tap the brass stud. Cutting oil not needed but it sure makes it easier.
They fit absolutely snug, no wiggle wobble at all.
