Default New Addition: Engraved 686-6 Altamont Edition

Possibly the fasted online purchase I have ever had short of driving to get it myself.

I found the engraved guns on the Altamont Website...picked 2 for additions to the collection. Then as I was debating how to come up with the money for them...I found myself on a gun auction website where Altamont had the same guns up for bids.

Well...it was fate, wasn't it? Instead of full price I can get one or both for WAY less. So I signed up and dived in.

I am still fighting for one, will be able to show it soon hopefully, but the other is already here! I'm still waiting on the cherry wood display case with wood insert to arrive but the revolver is here.

A 686-6, 4" with the Fishscale and Floral engraving on it. To me...it's the right amount of tough and the right amount of flourish.

UPDATE:
I didn't get the other engraved gun I was trying for but to make myself feel better.....I got a 686-1 "Race Gun" instead!

Paid 1/3rd what I was willing to spend on the engraved 629 I was trying for.

I'll post pics on a new thread once it gets here.
