Scored at Cabela's 18-3
Went to Cabela's for a pair of shoes and decided to check the used guns out. Sitting there was this 18-3 for $ 450.00 I put it back went out to the car and said " what are you doing" went back in a pick it up. With 5% veterans discount I paid $450.00 saved the tax.
The deal got better Cabela's called today, they screwed up the paperwork. I went back today to take care of there mishap and they gave me a $50.00 gift card.

Yeah, pretty much any decent S&W revolver where the price starts with a $4 is a no brainer.
Looks good!

Between the S&W and your Money Market account guess which will do best in the next 2 months!

Nice catch!
I passed up a beautiful 4” 18-3 last year at twice what you paid. I did the same thing with a 4” 48-3.

Nice buy, Cabelas pricing is usually high, the next 18-3 you see there will likely be priced at $1100.

Excellent deal. I have regretted passing up a couple of Model 18s over the last few years that were priced in the $750 range! Still looking.

“scored at cabelas” is not a common tune. Well done. The only other a deal I heard of was my 629-4 Mountain Gun for $819 a few years back, but a high condition 18-3 with a $450 tag on it is quite a find. Congrats!

Man, I'll say! Wow!!!
Bass Pro/Cabela's will not sell any used handguns to us here behind enemy lines in Massachusetts. I can go to CT or NH or ME to look at their used handguns, but still no sale to MA license holders even if to be transferred in via a willing MA FFL.
That shows you how well anti-2A state government intimidation can work.
