i picked up another 686 and i'm hoping you guys can help me figure out what year it is - it's a 6" - from the box: serial# AWM2920 - Product Code 104223 - Spec. Ord. 7170 - i'd post pics but i don't know how - is there an image hosting sight that i can use? suggestions? thanks again and i hope i posted this in the right place

June 19, 1987 according to the spec order code. Fantastic revolver.

i agree - it goes well with my 4" CS1 and my 6" 629 and dare i say my 1980 4" Python (sorry i know it's a S&W forum but i had to name drop haha!) - what's a good image hosting site to use here?

I use Imgur.com and very pleased! Do not use Photobucket! It became a rip off. The forum also has a photo hosting area but I do not know how to access it.
