Default CHP Model 60?

Hey guys, one more I'd like some opinions on. May have the opportunity to pick this one up. No box, I believe it is a model 60.

I haven't found anything similar, I was thinking maybe a retirement gift or something done for a department as a group buy?

Anyone see something similar? Thoughts?

Thanks all, appreciate the input

Yes, appears to be a Model 60.

Barrel isn't pinned so it's 1982 or newer.

Haven't seen that logo before. Sort of neat.

What is the seller asking?

Ended up picking it up with some others. Neat little gun.

Any thoughts as to the value?

Whatever you paid.

Nice Model 60s of the '82 - '88 era seem to run in the $450 - $650 range. I don't see the plain vanilla, but state police marked, Model 60s running any different.

I will confirm when I get home but I am fairly certain it is a no dash. It came with the box and paperwork as well. I think the tools might also be in the box

Is the frame stamped “ CHP” or “OHB” on the left side of the frame below the cylinder.

Nope, nothing and it isn't noted on the box either

Nice revolver OP. I am a police revolver collector and bought a CHP Model 60 in 2018 for $475 apx. Mine is a no dash. In today's market, I would pay $600 for that one. Over the summer I paid $700 for a Kentucky State Police S&W 60 and felt that was a fair deal

Since there is no CHP stamp, it was probably an officer’s personal back up gun he had engraved.
