Anybody have both models? Care to share your opinions/thoughts/likes and dislikes between the two?

I recently got the 351c, shot up half my .22mag stash, just got another 200 rounds today. I really like it so far. Was just wondering if there was any real advantage in getting the PD version. Mainly just because I can.

I bought the 351c because I like the Centennial platform. No hammer to snag....

I have the P.D. and the only real benefit is the option of a more accurate shot with the single action trigger pull .

Sold my PD as all i could think of was it locking up with the built in lock.
Kept my 43C and love it.

Bought a PD earlier this year, and really like it so far. I wanted a very lightweight revolver to carry in the pocket of my jammies and/or shorts, that wouldn't pull them down and moon the neighbors.

The wife swears she saw a copperhead near the woodshed in the spring, and I got a very quick glimpse of it as it went under a pallet by out by the back deck a couple of weeks later.

Our little (now 2 year old toy poodle) is not very "Street Smart" yet and still pokes his nose into anything that he thinks he might find a playmate within.

I've grown very fond of this little rascal and don't want to see him get hurt or killed for just wanting to play outside. CCI'S 22 WMR shotshells have performed very well in recent years out of my PMR 30. But like I said, it pulls my drawers down. The PD does not, and while it doesn't hold 30 rounds either, 6 is plenty to get me and Wee Diddle out of trouble.

It passed my "cardboard snake" test at 6' and further, and has very easy to pick up front sight, a good trigger (that's getting better) and good accuracy. However it is loud.

I prefer a hammer on a gun with such a stiff trigger. And all reports I read indicate the 351c has a pretty hard trigger pull. I'm very happy with my PD, once I got over the sticker shock.

I have the 351c since it is for concealed carry. Stiff trigger for sure, but it makes for very safe carry...no accidental discharge likely with this revolver.

I like the idea of having the choice of single/double action.

I have owned the 351PD and gifted it to my son who really liked it. I replaced it with the 351C. Both are great guns of equal quality. I say it just boils down to the different options of each gun as to which is best for you. Having had the 351PD 1st I learned that the open hammer did not fit my needs and by passed it for the next purchase of the 351C. If something happened to my 351 for whatever reason it would get replaced right away.

As far as a lightweight snubby-do they still make 317's??

I went looking for the 351c. And found it a second time after the mad rush for firearms began this year. First time, I tried to get permission. 2nd time I just bought it.

I like the hammerless version, for a carry gun. Using it at the range is a workout. Just getting used to it right now. LGS had a bunch of .22mag in stock, so I have been buying Hornady Critical defense, 200rds at a time. Store has no limit, but my wallet does. Four boxes is $64 out the door.

I like it a whole bunch. Shoot it better than the NAA Wasp mini revolver. When I find a holster, it will be my daily carry.
