Default Left hand Bianchi holster for my M 25-7

Thank goodness for Amazon I was able to secure a lefty holster for a 5 inch barrel N frame in quick time.
I put the revolver in a plastic bag and sprayed inside of holster with Ballistol which is good for leather and softens it a bit and let it sit overnight.
Still took a lot of two hand effort to snap the thong over the hammer. So I took my Dremel with ball end burr and cut a slot to go over the hammer.
Now it is easy finger pressure to secure and unfasten the hammer thong.
Revolver fits really secure and is easy on the draw.

The easier, less damaging, and less smelly way to get a leather holster to comport to your pistol is to get it snapped in and let it sit for a time. Then unsnap it, draw and reholster several times, then snap it in again and let it sit. Patience is a long lost virtue. And I’d like to be there when that hammer stays in that slot as you’re trying to pull that thing out. Air’s gonna be blue . . .

The slot for the hammer??? The leather would have stretched to fit if left snapped for several days...the slot for the hammer....looks like a snag waiting to happen in a moment of stress...

Thumb just flips it right off the hammer. This revolver would not be a everyday carry piece as I have other pistols or revolvers for that. Holster for this one just used when I want to shoot it at my range.
