What barrel length is your Mod 27 "Outnumbered" from the twelve set?
Regarding the Ellett Bros. revolver set from 1990,"The Twelve" that included the Model 27. The gun looks like any other blued 27 from that era, but the 3rd edition of Supica/Nahas Standard Catalog say's 7 inch barrel. Is that right? Seven inch? Sure looks like 6.5 to me. Anybody have one or know for sure. Thanks.

Reason: yee
I don't have one, sorry. But if you scale the photos with a ruler, even though the guns look the same size, they are not. So you really can't compare barrel lengths.
However, the 4th Ed. states it's 7" or 6 1/2" (sources vary)! So you could be right......
I would change the title of your thread to something like this:
"What barrel length is your Mod 27 "Outnumbered" from the 12 Revolver set?"
It might get more attention and you might get more responses. And who knows, both barrel lengths might be floating around out there. Stranger things have been observed with S&W production.
