It was sold to me as a 625-2. 1989 model. 4” barrel
I assume that’s correct but not sure

If there are any 625-2 with a 4” barrel they will have Model of 1989 on them.

How is the frame stamped? Open the cylinder and take a look at the markings. That will tell you the model number and dash. Same info is on the end label of the box if you got one.
