Picked up a prelock Performance Center gun today
Found this locally thru a private sale, it’s a 629-5 V-Comp PC gun with a 5” barrel, got it with 5 boxes of ammo and the aluminum PC case.
Does anyone have one that can share how it shoots and what kind of loads it can handle.
Thanks in advance

Loads: It can handle anything you can as long as it is within specs for the .44 Magnum.

I bought a 5" PC 629 V-Comp pre-lock/forged from an individual about 8 years ago. It had been fired very little. The action is superb and buttery smooth. Parts are tuned and fitted excellent. It's a very good shooter. I think you will enjoy your new 629.
