Arrow Surprise of the week...60-10 3-inch.

Hi folks,

Went to the range after an extended drought, it was so nice to finally get to shoot some plates.

The star of the show was the 625-8, which was the perfect balance of size and power. It spun the AR500 plates at 30 feet with ease, yet with much less sturm und drang than the 629-1 or the 610-3.

The sleeper gun among the dozen we brought was the wee 60-10. It was a soft-shooting laser with the 148gr wadcutters, and very controllable with both 130gr 38+p and mid-range magnums.

I will be putting this one into regular rotation.

Very nice stocks.

Haven't had mine out for a test drive, yet. Can't wait -- after all this snow melts.

Great "Kit Gun" mine has replaced my 4" 63 ....... it spends a lot of time in Penn's Woods...... think of it as a "micro-686"

Really like those stocks/grips.
My 60-10 rates right near the top of my meager accumulation. It scores points in the cool category as well as the shootable category.
When carried on hikes I load it with 158 gr 357. I was surprised that the recoil did not bother me with those loads. I was expecting to try it once and never attempt again.
