36-6 - FINALLY!!
Not sure if this thread will stimulate any "discussion" or not, but I've been on the trail for one of these for quite some time.... FINALLY traded into one today! Perhaps this is a, "Show us your 36-6 thread?? Regardless, I am ecstatic to finally add one to the stable!

Those are nice. I bought one when they first came out. I let my nephew keep it. I bought another NIB a few weeks ago for my Chief collection.
Congratulations

If its a "post your 36-6" thread, here's mine. I do not like the original grips so I put these on it.
I also have its fraternal twin, the 60-4.

Good for you. Nothing like finding a model that's eluded you for a while. Of course, you do know that now you need to find another model that's "juuuust" uncommon enough to drive you crazy, right? Because there's no such thing as "That's the last one!"

Congrats on finally scratching that itch.
As some of the other folks have said, I'm not crazy about those Hogues.
I like the Combats that came on that year's (1989) Double Action Only Chiefs Special, Model 36-2.

Nice little guns, I bought mine because of the adjustable sights. Also on the 60-4.

Here's my 36-6 along with a 36-1 Target. Unfortunately both have been sold within the past year along with the sell off of a majority of my collection.

Welcome to the forum.
A 36-6 Target in mint condition sold for $702 on Gunbroker yesterday, without a box. By "mint" I mean with no turn ring or obvious signs of use.
I assume that a box and papers might add another $100 to that price.
