Arrow 629 Mountain Revolver

I think the 4-inch N-frame with tapered barrel is an elegant gun.

I hope you agree. Here’s a 629 Mountain Revolver with bigmtnman stocks.

The elegant Mountain Revolver/Mountain Gun checks many of my S&W boxes: Tapered barrel, chamfered cylinder, big bore. My first and favorite Mountain is a "rescue" 629-2 MR acquired in April 2009 that has since been treated to a professional bead blast and smooth and tune, pictured here with a set of nicely modified football targets (courtesy of VM). It now wears X-frame rubbers for field duty.

Poor pic of the 5 calibers of stainless prelock center fire mtn. guns:
.45 ACP and Colt
.357, .41, .44 magnum
Would like to have a mtn. revolver to go with them.

I wonder why S&W didn't chamfer the cylinder on the M29 revolver?

Shady drifter, how does yours shoot with that sight configuration? The front sight looks a little tall for a fixed rear sight.

Then they had to ruin it all by putting those FAT UGLY USELESS GARGANTUAN WORTHLESS HEAVY full under lugs on Smith barrels.
