Engraved Model 66.
Just had my 66 engraved. Hand cut and then inked. The ink is not permanent. I think it came out pretty good.

Very nice. Now it needs some stag grips and a floral pattern, ElPaso holster.

Welcome from Western Massachusetts. That is a work of art. May I ask who did the work?

Looks great! Almost makes me want to do the same thing to my M66 snubbie.
You say the ink isn't permanent. Is there a way to make that shading permanent? It really brings out the engraving.

It looks pretty much the same just not as black. I actually liked it just as well without the ink.

Gosh I hope you carry that for self defense and have enough money to replace it with exactly the same thing if used and then taken into evidence.
Very nice.

The cylinder treatment and area around the trademark stamp really work well.

Done by JMN Engraving.
Here are some pics of the small areas under the gun and on the backstrap.

Egads!
I wish you guys would quit with the engraving!!! You are driving me nuts ( not far to go...). Beautiful, tasteful, I'm jealous! Engraving stainless isn't easy!

Looks good, I just don't see the practicality in doing it.

Art is rarely practical.
This, however, is art you can shoot.
