Default 41 Mag. Mountain Gun

Just scored this 57-5 Mountain Gun in .41 mag. last night. Been looking for one for awhile now, and this one comes with box and all paperwork . I already have a 57 "no dash" with 6" bbl. with box and paperwork, and love the caliber. Now if the weather would just cut me a break, lol .

I been a 44 mag guy for as long as my gun toting carrier. I been a 5.5”, 6”, 6.5” and longer barrel guy as long too.
It wasn’t until I shot a s&w m58/4” that my love began for the 41 mag and the N frames with 4” barrels.

Congrats

Too bad so many are losing out on this fine caliber.

There is just something about a 4" 41 Magnum.

Congratulations, and enjoy.

When My Dad reached his upper 70's and found it getting hard to carry his beloved Parker deer hunting any more, he went to the LGS to buy a S&W model 29. The clerk suggested it might be too much for him and suggested a 57 instead. Dad carried that for his remaining years.

The ole' Parker 12 gauge is my favorite shotgun. The 57 get shot almost every time I'm at the range. When I deer hunt with it I swear I can smell cigar smoke every morning at sunup. Then I know Dad is still with me.
