Square Butt -4's
Here's some pic's of my square butt -4's. I prefer the square butt over the round for shooting at the range. They seem to be harder to find in the -4's because they went to the round butt in '95. Top to bottom: 629-4, 686-4, 66-4.

Nice looking revolvers.
I agree about the square but being more comfortable when shooting. I am not a purist and use rb/sb stocks to accomplish the feel.
Both of these revolvers are round bottomed N frames.

I landed this 29-6 (same time frame) with the square butt. No MIM parts. It follows me to the range on a weekly basis.

I agree, conversion grips on a nice N frame round butt works well.
BTW, nice shooting with that long barrel 29-6.

I have one of each 629-4 RB and SB. Both came with factory rubber but I kinda like the fancy wood stocks.
