Recent pick-up S&W 60-15
I would please like some information for a used 60-15 I recently purchased. Anything about date of manufacture, if possible. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

Was considering giving up my 60-4 to recoup some of the money spent but that thought vanished very quickly. Guess I will own 2 model 60's.

Gee, where's the pic of your new kid? I didn't even know Model 60s had a -15 version. This is very interesting, there have been 15 versions? Congratulations! I can't wait to read more.

Congrats on a fine revolver.
My 60-15 replaces the plastic when I get home for the day and start kicking around the homestead.

My 60-15 is my favorite off-season field/hiking revolver. I carry it with mid-range 125 grain .357 Remington Golden Sabre hollow points, and have it sighted in at 50 yards. The 60-15 is unbelievably easy to shoot. It bridges the gap between the pocket pistols and the K frames.
I changed the grips (Nill) and the sights to suit me.

I purchased my Model 60-15 in 2015. S/N is CXX0xxx. It shipped 3/26/2015.

Mine’s a late-2015 vintage (CXX-prefix S/N).
Easy and comfortable to carry in a Milt Sparks VMII.
Mine came with no-name after-market boot grips but I prefer the OEM rubbers.
