My latest baby: a S&W 36 3"Plus I'
Got this some weeks ago. S&W 36 3", probably made 1985'ish.
Kinda a forbidden fruit for my generation.
This was verboten in Finland from 1998 to 2017, being too small. The law changed some years ago and now revolvers have the same minimum size requirements as pistols.
A 2" barrel S&W 36 is still a "pocket weapon" and only for criminals and collectors.
That aside, some photos.
And I'm designing a 3D printable stripper clip for this revolver, prototype 3 worked wonderfully.

wonder why the thread title got mangled.
"Plus I'" got pasted from somewhere mysterious.

Congrats on your Model 36-1.
The 3" Chiefs are my favorites.

Sorry forgot to mention it's 36-2
Does this mean it's more like 1987?

A 3" Model 36 is among the finest J frames. Very balanced with the extra 1" barrel and carry just as easy IWB.

Wow, I've never seen a 36-2 with a 3" barrel.
1988 at the earliest.

It has the heavy barrel as standard and the improved yoke retention screw.
Model 36-1 and -2 3" heavy barrel on the left. Model 36 3" tapered and formerly the standard barrel on the right:
