Default Value question on a New leftover.. "342 TI"??

Ran across what I think it is a pretty rare S&W. It is a "342TI"
with that unique alloy. Only one I have ever seen. Think it is was made between 1990-1993.

Anyone have knowledge about these?? This one is nib with papers, appears un-fired.Thanks..BB

PS.

I am thinking its worth a lot in this market. But I want it to keep.
Could be gone in a matter of hours today. I saw a S&W .32mag on gun-broker...also nib..bring..$1400. whew! It was a beauty last week.

I don't think they bring the same kind of money as the 32 caliber guns. But they are sought after. Light as it gets for a 38 special. Probably a bit of a hand stinger.

There is a used one with the box etc on the same auction site for $750 to start with 0 bids and a couple days left.

If I couod find a Scanadium 32 mag for under $1000. I would buy it

About 7 weeks ago, I sold a used 342PD with box and papers on Gunbroker. It went for $980.00. I would think that a 342TI NIB would go for more. How much more? It depends on how badly someone wants it.

Strictly a matter of what a given individual buyer is willing to pay for it. I would prefer a 342PD, and if $980 was the going rate for one of those, then I would say less for the 342Ti, but tastes vary and if that one truly is NIB, then... In any case, $1400 for either one is right out for me.

A bit of a time machine comparison review. Maybe it's interesting?

Thanks guys..cause I see a .32 magnum on GB going for over...a "whopping" $2600.today. The .38 one I am looking at would cost me about $1200. and it appears nib. The .32 on GB looks good but not compared to one I am looking at.Thanks for the information. I appreciate it.
