That I have no idea, looking at photos the RB Tyler Ts look like a small profile compared

Let me get this right..... I’ve read your posts where you buy and carry $1000 shorty forty’s, but you won’t carry a $300 beater because it’s too nice? The logic befuddles me.

The smudge on the side plate makes it a non-collectable. $300 makes it a great deal........ down in "truck gun" territory
Not so nice that it should live in the safe and nice enough to be seen in public with.....................
Deal of the week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep it carry it ...... or send it to me. My anib 2 1/2"19-4 is too nice to carry!!!!!

I got my 4" AND a Bersa 22 off a liberal who no longer felt it wise to own those evil guns. For $350. My deal was better. So there. Na na na. (BTW, I'm keeping mine.)

More like $225 in the early 80's. You're right about the 66. All the stainless guns (60, 67, 65...) were really hard to find. I couldn't find a 67 and bought a Nickel 15 instead. It was $185.

I may be totally wrong, but I remember hearing the difference between a Tyler 3 (sq) and 3R (round) was the length. The #3 (sq) will cover the strain screw on a round butt revolver whereas the 3R made for the round butt would not.

I don't think you're the first guy on here to buy a gun because you got a killer deal on it. Do with it what you want. Use as trade barter, sell, refinish, whatever. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Fiocci, sometimes available at Academy, but I ordered some online from Midway, I think, it's been awhile.

I drive a 66-4 RB with Tyler T specified for SB looks just like yours. I would like to see how one made for RB is different.

Here are a few. A few others missing from this pic. Yes, they were hard to find.
Clockwise from top left:
66-2, 66-1, 4" 66-1, 66 no dash.

I'm sorry, but that M19 is a total eyesore! You need to put a better stainless barrel on it. While you're doing the barrel swap, replace that worn frame with a good chunk of stainless steel. By the way, those grip panels are offending the environmentalists, so you need to replace them with some Goodyears!
See, that was easy and didn't cost any of us a dime!

I'd completely ignore that smudge on the side plate. Looks like honest wear to me. Leave the gun as it is, carry it and shoot the snot out of it.

I paid more than twice as much for one that was half as nice a couple of years ago. What a find.
