Default Can't find a 586-8 4" anywhere.

Hello Everyone,

I am new here and looking for a new 586-8 with a 4" barrel.
SKU #150909

Does anyone know of a distributor / dealer that might have one?

Thanks !

There is not much of anything available.
All that can be done is get on a waiting list of an outfit you like.
For me I am on the list at Tombstone Tactical.

I ordered one back in December and am still waiting. I think Smith is putting the bulk of their manufacturing capability behind poly's and ARs right now.

I've had one in my gun safe for about 15 years -what's the problem? That is what the old timers told me when I was younger and asked a similar question about Israeli Mausers. Sorry could not resist.

A well known auction site seems to be the only place to find many guns no longer in Production. You might try Collector's Firearms on Westheimer in Houston.

I just bought a 586-8 in 2019 so I would think they are still in production. Ended up buying a 586-4 shortly afterwards. In today's market I guess now would be a good time to sell that -8.

Finding the gun is one thing. Finding ammo is even harder. We've got LGS owners up here selling guns with no ammo. Crazy times but this too shall pass.
