Trying to get some value info for my 64-4 snub nose, don’t have any idea what it’s value is. Thanks for your help.

Here in AZ that would be $550 to $650 as it is with no box or paperwork. Barring any unseen damage of course.

Don't know value, but it sure looks like a nice 1. Still missing from what I have.

She sure is pretty other than those rubber monsters trying to swallow it up! I have a 10-5 snub, and a 66-2, snub. They are fun to shoot! Bob

Yep, nice gun. Hopefully you have the magnas.

That would be $600 here at a LGS and around $550 private party. I was offered one for $550 about 3 months ago so that is a confirmed number.

Has that 64 been polished? And (as long as I'm asking): is there any consensus about how value is affected by polishing a stainless either working or collectible revolver?

I personally like the polished appearance, unless there's a real need for not having it.

In my opinion, anything done to alter the gun's factory appearance (porting, ball detent, drill and tap, etc) will lower the value as there are more people that prefer factory original vs the alternative.

While there may be some that value, say a polished finish, there are probably more that prefer the factory (conjecture on my part, but probably not far from the truth), therefore there would be a greater pool of people willing to pay more, ergo, greater value.

If you look at any history of past sales, this becomes glaringly obvious.
Just my $0.02

Yes the new or collectors revolvers in factory condition are beautiful! I just like to polish on my revolvers. Thanks for all the input. 64-7. Top, 64-4. Middle, model 60 no dash . Lower.
