Who'd Want to?
I can't imagine anyone wanting to cure themselves of such an enjoyable fever. For an example, We are dog setting for our neighbor, for a few days, and I just came back inside from taking that dog for a long walk. We live on the edge of a woods, infested with coyotes etc. so I picked my Mod. 34, J frame, 2", and put it in my pocket, for the outing. On coming inside and opening the S&W forum, the first thread that I opened, was this thread. What better reason to have, and enjoy " The J frame fever"? Here is one that have, use, and enjoy.

J-frame fever doesn't seem to be curable, only treatable. I find that periodic small gun purchases (I- or J-frames) seem to stave off the pain, but only on a temporary basis.

Yes there is a cure. Shoot several boxes of Buffalo Bore 158grain lead swc-hp +P at the range in them. You'll find one is all you ever need.

The original post is over 9 years old and the OP seems to have sworn off forums about 5 years ago. Hope he is enjoying a happy, computer-free retirement

LOL! Last time out I did shoot a few cylinders full of 158gn +P fast enough for the range officwer to give me a warning but I wouldnt make it a habit. That was from my 360J.
IF LOVIN J's IS WRONG, I DON'T WANT TO BE RIGHT!
