I have a question regarding the rear sight leaf screw. I know that at some point S&W changed the sight leaf and screw location.

My question is did they change the screw? I have the older square end leaf. I need the screw. Does it matter if the screw is from the older or new style?

The screws are different for the rear sights with square front and round front. Midway USA carries both. You need the old style (square front). Unfortunately, it is currently out of stock (overdue). Midway Product #: 999345 Manufacturer #: 037350000

BTW.....if you have a revolver with the old trigger stop, the screw that holds the trigger stop is same as the sight leaf screw.
