The eyes are getting older and I would like a orange site on my 65-3 3" is there a way to add this to the front site, should I paint it, or should I not alter this gun as they seem to be in some demand and this might alter value.
Thanks
Aikido

You can use bright orange fingernail polish. When/if you sell that good gun, nail polish remover will take off the polish.

This has worked very well for me over the years.

Have you looked into the CT laser grips? My eyes are getting older too and I have found the laser to be an excellent aid. I'm also practicing point shooting lately without the laser and am enjoying it. Best of luck, you have a great gun there.

I agree it is easy to remove with acetone if you don't like it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I hadn't thought of nail polish but I like it. I'll get out my collection of polish and see what looks best and fits my mood LOL.
Thanks

If you look in the Crafts Department at Walmart they carry Krylon Bright Sticks...basically a Magic Marker full of yellow or green paint. I have been using this for about two years and it works great on my M65 3"...

A good smith can dovetail the sight and put a piece of plastic in it. I had my 28 red ramped like that 30 years ago.
