Accuracy varies from gun to gun with different brands/weights.

Finding out which your individual gun(s) prefers is the fun part ... Not under current conditions, but normally.

My 657-2 Classic Hunter is quite accurate. It tends to prefer heavier bullets, 250-265 grains. Great revolvers.

I have found all of my 41 Magnums to be exceptionally accurate including the 6 1/2" Classic Hunter (SKU 103820).

I changed out the stocks on mine for some Brazilian Rosewood Hogues. The 6 1/2" Classic Hunter (103820)is an unusual situation. The 2,000 piece production of these revolvers began with square butts but continued through the time when Smith & Wesson changed to all round butt frames. So exampled can be found with either frame under the one product code. These were built across 3 or 4 years

Why all 41 Magnums shoot tighter groups than the identical configurations in 357 Magnum or 44 Magnum has to do with some cartridges being inherently accurate
