Default Oh I NEED HELP, 686-6

Ok so I took my 686-6 apart so I can grind off the nub for the Hillary Lock. I removed all the parts and just ran a fin sandpaper over everything to make it all nice and smooth. Oiled all the parts parts and put it back together and now the cylinder does NOT rotate on every pull so what did I do wrong. Took the plate of a second and third time but it all looks good and seems to function until I put the plate on and function test again.

Insure that the spring for the hand is properly installed, and applying pressure to it. Insure that the hand is moving in the window of the recoil shield without obstruction.
