Info please...686 no-dash / when was it made?
Hey all, I have a 4” 686 (no dash) ser# AEH9xxx
Would one of you fine folks be able to tell me when this one was made?
Also, I forget what the code stamp is that indicates the factory recall repair on these early ones?

AEH prefix would be 1985. If the gun was sent back to the factory in response to the recall, it will have an "M" stamped in the frame cutout that's exposed when you swing the cylinder out.
