If I didn't have on and wanted one, that seems to be the going price.

Asking this group of addicts if you should buy a nice revolver with box and paperwork is like asking a hobo if he would like a ham sandwich. 😂
If you can afford it, buy it. It will not get cheaper or easier to find.

A collector response: Hmmmm, the 41 would seem would appear to be the better value.

A Smith wheelie fiend response: If I don't buy the 65 this decision will haunt me forever...

When in doubt, flip a coin and buy a Smith.

Is the atomic weight of cobalt 58.9???

Investment? Not so sure. If you want to make 2-3 hundred dollars in ten years, then maybe. If you want to shoot it now, then yes.

Buy the gun, not the story.

And------

Guns are are usually mediocre investments, but for utility, pleasure of use, and pride of ownership they can't be beat.

Called him last night and another friend picked it up, oh well guess I’ll get the Mdl 41. 41 will be cheaper to shoot! Last .357 Mag ammo I saw was almost 100 bucks a box unless FMJ they were 75 bucks per 50.

In my case the "Story" usually is "I wanted the gun"
