New arrival adds to the family!
Here is my recently purchased off the forum 15-4 from 1984. Luckily it was being offered at a very reasonable $495 with non-matching period correct targets. As beautiful as those targets were, I just had to put some of Ken's elk stags on it to match it's brothers. Top gun is a 15-2 from 1962 that was used to enforce the law by 2 men I personally know. One of them was my father. The middle is the first centerfire gun I ever purchased and my first Smith and Wesson. It's a 15-3 from 1973 trade in from the Spokane Police Dept. It is indeed marked as such. I have slept with it under my pillow more than any woman has slept beside me. The same gun. Three different decades. I like the honest wear on the older 2. They put in the work to deserve their scars, but it is nice to have a nice looker too. He will be loved as his brothers are.

Very nice assortment...I'm embarrassed to say I've lost an accurate count of my Model 15/Combat Masterpiece accumulation, but the one I intend to wear to my own funeral is still my most carried EDC, my 2" 15-2, shown below in an early pic, but currently wearing unmodified target stocks, different holster, different ammo and minus the trigger shoe... ...Ben

You have a good looking family!
Who wouldn't be proud of a trio like that?
And those stags are what really make the group unique. He does great work, and I hope to have at least one pair in the not-too-distant future.

The M15, one of S&W's best efforts. I wish I never turned my LEO gun into a PPC gun, but I still have the rosewood targets. I think I have 4 of them, 2 are new. I bought a new birth year ( 1974) for my oldest son. He will get it in a few weeks
Enjoy yours!
