Default Model 535 ??

Is there such a thing? My LGS asked me to help ID a gun that came in NIB. SN ACS 97xx. Production code 101704. I’ve seen a poor pic. 2 inch barrel, shrouded hammer, 38 sp., small S&W logo on left side.described on box as nickel, but lighter. Wooden grips, non diamond. Color case trigger. Fluted barrel. To me it looks like a model 638 or it’s progeny. The box clearly says model 535. The LGS and I are confused. I will try to post a pic. Maybe the box has a typo? Thanks, Dave
