Default Model 60 Serial AEUXXXX 3" Unfluted

Looking at a Model 60, 3" barrel, Unfluted cylinder, Serial #AEUxxxx. S&W says it was manufactured between 83-85. Any additional info is appreciated. Would this be a Jovino? If so, would that make it anything special?

The Jovino special order model 60s had a square butt frame and standard cylinders. And photos are always welcome.

Here's a thread about the Square butt Jovino Model 60 that had flutted cylinders and front sight without insert.
Model 60 3" John Jovino?

It is a Jovino-style gun but with a different cylinder, polished hammer and trigger and Mag-Na-Ported (and the red sight insert as noted above).

There were factory unfluted cylinder model 60s but this was not one of them. Cool gun if you like it.

I have seen Model 60's with non fluted cylinders, but not a 3" (doesn't mean they don't exist). I believe this is a 3" Jovino gun that someone has modified with a non-fluted cylinder, added a front sight insert and had it Magna Ported. The cylinder is a neat option, the other two, not so much.

There was a run of 500 with 2” barrel made for Michigan Police Supply in 1989 with unfluted cylinders.
