317-3 trigger replacement
Are the 317-3 J frame triggers drop in or do they need to be fitted? Hammers? Rust on mine inside.

Why not just clean it up? A lot cheaper.

How bad is it? Potentially you can open up a can of worms replacing hammers and triggers if you dont fully understand how the components work with each other. I would he thinking, if you had to ask, you might he better off sending it back.
I agree with AJ. Clean it up.

Need to be properly fitted . Send it back to S&W if it's that rusty ... may be more things going on that need attention.
