Default 360PD Ammo Limitation

On the 360PD barrel it said "no less than 120 gr bullet".
Can I use Remington High Terminal Performance 38 Special 110 gr SJHP cartridges?
What will happen if I use bullet less than 120 gr?

Welcome! The bullet weight limitation on the lightweight .357s is related to the full Magnum velocity ammunition; recoil with lighter bullets in this situation may pull the bullets out of their crimps. 110 gr .38 Specials should be fine.

"What will happen if I use bullet less than 120 gr?"

The reason for the weight limitation is to avoid flash erosion on the face of the titanium cylinder.

To be fair, 125s are too short and will cause the same issue. Stick with high weight, low velocity bullets for low power loads to penetrate properly. Light bullets need significant velocity to expand and penetrate, which is why even the best 9mm is around the bare minimum to meet fbi reqs.

110 gr .38 Spl loads CAN incur bullet pull/crimp jump in the flyweight revolvers like the 360. Happened to me, is why I know. Always test your proposed carry load in your gun and not just 5 or 10 rounds. At least a box-full. Can't be too careful.

You will get erosion on the face of your cylinder if it is titanium. It can happen with as little as one shot. You can Google for photos.

The photo below resulted from 50 rounds.

Also, this excerpt from the 2006 S&W Owner's Manual

ALL SCANDIUM REVOLVERS FIRING MAGNUM AMMUNITION

WARNING: DO NOT USE MAGNUMŽ LOADINGS
WITH BULLET WEIGHTS OF LESS THAN 120 GR.
THIS WILL REDUCE THE POSSIBILITY OF
PREMATURE CYLINDER EROSION.

158 gr .357's are the best for it as far as for the Ti cylinder erosion thing. Plus, you won't be able to shoot too many of them before your hand hurts so that will save you money! The bullet can pull on any load so test before carrying.
