Default Salt and Pepper

I'm a huge fan of fixed sight service revolvers. These were out of the safe today and looked like they were posing for a picture. I think these two are among the most beautiful guns ever to come out of S&W, and this is coming from dyed in the wool pre-1957 "N" frame fan. The 681 is a no dash from the early 80's and the 581 is a very early production model with a "AAA" serial number prefix. Both all original.

Very nice OP, especially the 581 since I love blued revolvers.

But, I have a bunch of blue and stainless versions of different revolvers, and several nickel versions. What do you call it when you also have a nickel version? Salt, salt and pepper?

I think of them more as Spy vs. Spy

a couple of pre-27s:

or maybe a 617 and a 17-6:

Here we go again: another 681 that will never reach Vegas. This is becoming tiresome...

A model 67 and 15. I bought the 15 on a whim shortly after COVID started. When I brought it home and cleaned it up I realized it was in like new condition. So I had to get the 67 as the shooter. It too turned out nicer than I expected... So now I have a beater 64 to get all the abuse while these hang out in the dark most of the time.

I like Oreos myself. Does this count as "double stuff"?
